The Scoobie Gang is back... and so are the bad guys!

Just when you thought Sunnydale was taking a break (🤣), we've got a sneaky slayer running interference between, well, others, and the here and now (but WHY?!), Grim showing up like a VERY WELCOME bad penny, Willow being drawn into something we know she's powerful enough to manage, but maybe not ready to handle (not to mention the where-do-we-stand convo needed with Oz!), Hailey's loyalty skewered thanks to unfolding events, and Frankie being Frankie, which means trying to walk the line between slayer-witch and a normal teenager. What's a girl... boy... werewolf... demon... witch to do? (Did I cover all the paranormal mentioned...*rereads*... not even close!)

There's so much going on in this one and yet so much unanswered that we're grasping at straws throughout to catch a glimpse of what's going on behind it all! Add in the Darkness and talk about a head turning series of events?! I'm just saying, of you're a Buffy fan, YOU NEED TO READ THIS, and if you're not, give it a go... AFTER you read the first one! And maybe binge watch the series. Just sayin' 😁. All our favorite characters are here or mentioned, along with some enemies you'd rather forget, but the mix of nostalgia and new create a potent formula not to be missed!

About the author...

Kendare Blake is the New York Times bestselling author of several novels and short stories. Her work is sort of dark, always violent, and features passages describing food from when she writes while hungry. She was born in July in Seoul, South Korea, but doesn’t speak a lick of Korean, as she was packed off at a very early age to her adoptive parents in the United States. That might be just an excuse, though, as she is pretty bad at learning foreign languages. She lives and writes in Gig Harbor, Washington, with her husband, their cat son Tyrion Cattister, red Doberman dog son Obi-Dog Kenobi, rottie mix dog daughter Agent Scully, and naked Sphynx cat son Armpit McGee.
