Welcome back to Satisfaction for Insatiable Readers.
This was sort of an impromptu post in the sense that it wasn't preplanned for today specifically, but rather the "once-upon-a-day" that comes when planning for a book to release. Confused? Hang on, I'll explain.
Back in 2018, I had the esteem honor of reading a manuscript by one of my favorite authors. This particular work was still in the pre pub phase, but was actively being shopped around for a publishing home. It was different was their previous releases, most of which I had already read, reviewed, and adored, so they were seeking some reader feedback. Needless to say when approached about the opportunity, I was flattered and beyond excited because...hello?! Did I mention that I had read their previous works and loved them? So my answer was a resounding YES, and a few weeks after that I was able to indulge.
Here we are in grand old 2020 and OH SO MANY things have happened between then and now. Between Hurricane Michael (which ate my blessed manuscript! Ugh!), COVID-19, and pretty much whatever the daily news throws at us, the world has changed, our lives have changed, and now...the manuscript that was became the BOOK THAT PUBLISHED this past Tuesday! (Congrats!) So here it is...today's title in the spotlight...
Luna Bella Media, Inc
About the book...
Blessed with a high emotional IQ, Phinn Reed enters the world with the promise of finding his soul mate. With heaven’s memories erased, his romantic quest teaches him that the heart often sees clearer than the eyes—and that not everyone has ordered the same items from The Menu. This inspirational love story is heartfelt evidence that love stories come in many different forms.
My thoughts from then, echoed now...
The Menu is a captivating take on life, love, and what it means to truly have faith. Author Steven Manchester delivers a story that will move the most devout or loosely attributed amongst us, taking us through all stages of the human condition with his trademark humor and heart. With passages that will move you from laughter through tears, and a message that not only assures us everything will be alright, but that even in our darkest hours, we're never really alone, this is another great addition to this author's body of work and a must-have on your bookshelf.
