Hi there!
Welcome back to Satisfaction for Insatiable Readers.

Today, we're joining Rachel's Random Resources for a stop along their current tour featuring a Contemporary Romance that begs us to question whether Prince Charming and Cinderella fantasies CAN really come true! Newly out and about in the book world, please make way for today's blog tour guest and ebook of choice...

Reunited with Her Blue-Eyed Billionaire
Barbara Wallace
Mills & Boon / Harlequin

About the book...
For billionaire Whit Martin, Jamie Rutkowski is the one who got away. Now his college girlfriend is back to celebrate their best’s friend’s marriage. As their chemistry reignites into an even greater passion, Whit’s determined that this time their relationship will work. But are they ready to unlock the secrets of their past…if it means a chance at forever?

First things first because otherwise it will sit in the room like a pink elephant waiting to be acknowledged...for those that follow my Instagram, you may have logged a comment regarding the cover on my #amreading post. It wasn't bad, just my opinion, and quite honestly, I still stand by it. Not every book is for every reader, nor every cover the perfect match for catching someone's attention. FOR ME, if I was picking this up by the cover alone, I might have passed it just didn't do anything for me...HOWEVER, I'm SO GLAD that I DON'T JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER because I certainly enjoyed the story within!

Whit and Jamie were a fairy tale waiting to happen...emphasis on the waiting though because their match was on spot back in college AND in present times, if only they learned to express themselves and not simply try to guess what the other person really wants. OMG! I was ready to throttle one or the other then AND now when things were getting dicey! Just open your mouth and let the words fall out...and now I've got that song stuck in my head, but anyway, back to the story.

I loved the dynamic these two had. The chemistry was there, no doubt, but they could appreciate each other beyond the superficial. When the real sharing started happening, both for the writing project and catching up on the last few years, the connection they forged didn't feel new, but rather reinforced. There was simply no way that you couldn't see these two making it work...again, if they could get out of their own way! *ahem* Neither of them was a fool, but a fool for love was definitely a twice owned title. Watching them grow together again, feeling the feelings they shared, experiencing both the memories and the new ones created was heartwarming. Despite their chosen extracurricular activities of the past, your heart was racing just as much as they declared a snow day, enjoyed the full pleasures of the Roman Baths, and each others company. I suppose it's the maturity that comes with age that made their relationship THAT much more special as well as their life experiences taking a little of the shine from the day to day, but don't worry, those stolen glances, will they/won't they moments, and tension filled silences will definitely keep them youthful! *smirk*

All in all, a great read! It's not all a walk down memory lane to an uncertain but hoped for HEA, because both characters have had to deal with dark things in the years between, some darker than others. It does go to show you that with perseverance, an open heart, and time, new beginnings are still possible...and love can conquer all.

About the author...

Barbara Wallace is the best selling author of over two dozen romance and cozy mystery novels. Her books can be found world-wide, including the UK, France, Germany, Canada, Italy and Australia.

A native New Englander, Barb lives in the suburbs with her husband of thirty-one years. Their only son is married and lives on a farm in the middle of nowhere. When she's not writing, you'll find her hard at work at her other job, that of an unappreciated caretaker to two demanding rescue cats. For some reason they seem to think laps are for petting, not laptop computers.

I'm glad you liked the book! I laughed about the cover because it's been the subject of debate since it came out. I was hoping for more of a Jude Law look, to be honest.

Fun fact: Australia chose to remake the cover and take the glasses away - you''re clearly not alone. I hope your blog fans will give the story a shot and not "judge a book by its cover."

Thanks for hosting me.

Huh. I'll have to see to what effect that change made! Still, LOVE the story! Thanks for stopping by!
