Our friend, Banana, is not ready to go to bed. In fact, he's so far from ready, he's about to take this bedtime story to another level...as in a full on takeover where bedtime turns into playtime, but don't worry... the narrator knows just what they're doing and by alphabets end, things will turn out just right. 😉 

From the illustrations to Banana's antics, this was not only edutainment fun, but the promised bedtime story as well. Like most little ones, Banana 🍌  wants his way... to stay up, hand an adventure, continue his fantastical fun because who needs sleep. Of course, older readers know better, the value of a good night's sleep is hard to pass up, and even harder to get further on in life, but making sure wee ones get that rest to start strong, stay healthy, and build good habits from the word go, is a challenge they happily take on. So when Captain Banana makes his claim on the night, or Ninja Banana comes out of stealth mode, the narrator gently guides them through their alphabet journey on the way to dreamland. 

Readers of all ages will love how the story develops, while having a little bit of ABC fun along the way, and just when you didn't think you could add anything else of merit, you've got the brilliantly colored and funny illustrations to dazzle the eyes. It's charming, and witty, and a great time to be had, whether in a classroom setting, or fighting off those first threads of sleep.
