In My Shopping Bag (45)

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren.
Through her guidelines, your post does not actually have to be named the same and thus my post shall be..."In My Shopping Bag".  (just fits with the "foodie" theme a bit better in my humble opinion)
Let's take a peek inside my shopping bag from this past week....

Self Portraits:  Fictions by Frederic Tuten
(courtesy of W.W. Norton & Company)
Okay, when I saw this unrequested title show up I thought...what the...??  BUT...after reading the literature sent with the book as well as the inside cover, it might be rather interesting.  We shall see....if you want to check it out on your own, it's scheduled for release 09/13/10.

Betti on the High Wire by Lisa Railsback (ARC)
(courtesy of the author herself)
Been looking forward to this one since I heard about it earlier this year....Noonie's Masterpiece was rather enjoyable so there are high hopes for this one....

The Night Children by Kit Reed

Percy Jackson, Book 2: The Sea of Monsters by Rick Riordan
The Princess Bride by William Goldman
Santa Lives! Five Conclusive Arguments for the Existence of Santa Claus by Ellisa Weiner
Gossip Girl: Because I'm Worth It by Cecily von Ziegesar

Molly Moon's Incredible Book of Hypnotism
Molly Moon Stops the World
Molly Moon's Hypnotic Time Travel Adventure
Molly Moon, Micky Minus, & the Mind Machine
Molly Moon book series, Molly Moon & the Morphing Mystery
by Georgia Byng
(won via contest from HarperCollins Children's Books)
Wow!  I was so excited when I heard that I won but never thought they'd come this quickly!  Can't wait to dive into Molly Moon's adventures.  You can too....over at the Molly Moon website!  Info, activities and the chance to read all of the books for free for a limited time...check it out.

That's all for this week!
What did YOU get?
Do tell!

Until next time....happy reading!

Juju: Agreed! Looks like a "high flying" story...

Julie P: Thanks! ^_^

La Coccinelle: Yup, that's what I hear! I've seen the movie a dozen times at least, but can't wait to read the book.
