Hi guys!
Welcome back to Satisfaction for Insatiable Readers.
Today, we welcome back Rachel’s Random Resources as we set our sights on a Romantic Comedy that will speak to the bookish at heart with the unmistakable lilt of a Scottish brogue. It's an author's whose work I've read before, and rather enjoyed, so when this one came around, with the too cute title...I had to partake! So don your kilts (or not), and get ready to display your best Celtic artwork, today’s blog tour guest and ebook of choice is...

About the book...
Paige wants two things: to land a full time librarian job and find the man of her dreams. On the cusp of thirty, she finds herself suddenly single and working part-time in a Michigan library. A handsome patron with a delicious accent appears at the reference desk, inadvertently sparking an idea that might help her land the promotion she so desperately needs. But that's not the only thing he sparks.
James is in town from Glasgow, Scotland, on a summer artist residency. Luckily, the trip got him away from the pressure he feels to take over his uncle's river tour business. He only wanted to clear his head and make his art in peace, but he wasn't counting on finding an attractive librarian to fill his days.
With only eight weeks before James goes home to Scotland, Paige knows she should protect her heart. After all, she already wasted years with her commitmentphobe ex. But the more she gets to know James, the less she can stick to her plan to just be friends. Is she just wasting her time again, or can they bridge the ocean between them to find a happily ever after of their own?

I was in love with our leads from the start! I mean how could I NOT be?! Paige is a librarian going through a tough lot on the relationship front, but she took the proverbial bull by the horns, and set off on her own path when things finally reached her breaking point. True, it took six years, a proposal that wasn’t, and a next step suggestion in their relationship that was anything but a step up to move her into action, but it’s definitely a better late than never situation. She digs into her work, and spends time with her friends, while making the patrons of the library feel welcome and cared for. She never thought another chance at love would walk right into her little place in time...with statuesque height, Adonis good looks, an accent to swoon over, a love of books, and, as it turns out, a heart of gold. I mean, this isn’t a romcom, this is real life...well, for Paige anyway (*wink wink*). Ah, but truth can be stranger than fiction, even when it IS in a fiction novel...and the results are just as swoon worthy for those along for the read…
While not my personal accent of choice, it is still a beaut to listen to, and when everything else about the man in question is considered, there’s no way you can’t love James. He’s a perfect match for our girl Paige...except for his upcoming expiration date (he’s only over US side for an 8 week program)...but then again, love finds a way. Watching these two play off each other, and all the sweeter than sweet moments, was smile inducing, heart warming, and everything in between. It was a whirlwind romance that you could actually get behind, and the results for both of them were out of this world. To think, if neither of them had run into issues in their personal lives, they may have even had the chance to meet. Fate, she is a funny mistress...but one you’ll thank hardily for as this story speaks to your heart.
