Hallo, Hallo!!!

I was so excited seeing you spotlighted this book!! I did as well - in fact, happily Ms Silverwood left me a comment under mine to make me realise I would *love!* reading it even after I talked about why it interested me to read! I submitted a purchase request at my library and would you believe!!? They already sent me the acceptance notice!! I was quite surprised as generally speaking - it takes a bit longer for those to go through!? I'm truly hoping I can read it for my October #WyrdAndWonder mini event where I co-host events showcasing Fantasy stories!! This one is strictly for Dark Fantasy and/or anything which fits the theme of #SpooktasticReads!

From what I can gather there is a lot more to the plotting than a straight-up re-telling of 'Jack and the Beanstalk'. I'll have to let you know my reactions once I get the book in hand!! Lovely to find someone I follow who likes some of the same newer releases I am discovering myself!!
