~~~ EXCERPT ~~~
If you're following along the tour, this is EXCERPT #5!
Desperate to shed off the baby weight Annie has decided to join her local Weight Loss class, but will she stay on the path or be tempted and  give up, as she can never resist a sweet treat or two.
‘Hi,’ said the lady next to me, ‘I’m Suzanne’
‘Annie.’ I smiled
‘Is it your first time here?’
‘Yes, it is,’ I reply.
‘It's my first time here as well, I'm so nervous.’
‘That makes two of us.’ I grinned.
‘I'm forty-three but I feel like I’m seventy-one,’ Suzanne moaned. ‘My legs are stiff from bad posture and my joints are killing me from all the weight. I need professional help. So, what’s your story?’
‘My story? Well... I’m a mother of two - I have a five-year-old girl and an eight-month-old son.’
‘How lovely, they must keep you busy.’
‘They definitely do, but even with running after them I still can’t lose the weight.’
‘My guilty pleasure is custard creams,’ said Suzanne. ‘I could get through a whole pack of them, no problem. I'm addicted to them. I even hide secret stashes around the house where no one will find them. I need help.’ Her face flushed pink with embarrassment.
‘Well, were both in the same boat. I have my wine and my sweet treats especially, home baked cakes and anything filled with cream.’
‘You guys are going to make me want to stop of at the cake shop on the way back home with all this talk about food,’ I heard a voice say behind me.
‘Sorry!’ I say.
‘Don't tempt me, please.’ She smiled. ‘I just about managed to drag myself here today. I was so tempted to pick up a chippy and go home, but I fought the urge and came down instead.’
 ‘Good on you,’ said Suzanne.
‘Hello, ladies,’ said a happy voice, ‘and welcome to health start. Any newbies here today?’ Everyone went quiet, too scared to reveal themselves.
